States
Charter domicile is a statute, not a brand
A directed trust only works if the corporate trustee is actually chartered — or otherwise authorized to act — in the state whose statute the instrument uses, and if administration matches that state’s situs rules. These four files start from banking-division pages and codified statutes. They are not a ranking of jurisdictions.
Wave 1 covers the four domiciles this directory already filters on. Other states are parked until we have the same class of primary sources.
