JTC South Dakota Trust Company is the Sioux Falls public trust company that built the modern South Dakota directed-trust market under the South Dakota Trust Company / SDTC name. The Division of Banking still lists it as credential TC.020-2, first issued 23 April 2002, at 201 S. Phillips Avenue, Suite 200.
The firm’s own fact sheet describes “pure trust administration without any product,” with the client or advisor choosing investments, insurance, and custody. It says it generally serves as a directed administrative trustee and also as corporate or trustee agent for private family trust companies in South Dakota, Wyoming, and Nevada. Treat the $155 billion AUA figure as a February 2025 marketing number, not a current regulatory filing.
